About
Smokin Tabacco began as a simple social media page in September 2019. Since then, the name has become known as the place where cigar smokers can go to find the latest and most exciting news and information on what is happening in the cigar industry, be entertained by one of our amazing shows or for reviews on cigars and other products from the industry.
In 2021, Smokin Tabacco joined forces with William Cooper of Cigar-Coop.com to bring the second successful podcast to Smokin Tabacco – the Spare Notes Series. Every other Saturday night Matthew and Coop get together to talk about the hot topics in the cigar industry.

Mitchell Santaga
Product Reviews & Content Creator
Mitchell Santaga started his journey into tobacco in 2011 by trying different flavored and machine-made cigars while enjoying a handle of Jack Daniels. Shortly after that he yearned for a more premium experience and dove headfirst into pipe tobacco that his local tobacconist blended.
Being a Canadian resident, the tobacconist introduced Mitchell to Cuban cigars and for special occasions he would light up a Cuban cigar. After exploring the Cuban portfolio, he stumbled into new world cigars and fell in love with the bold flavors and great consistency and construction. Ever since then he has been entrenched in exploring as much of the new world cigars and finding his favorites to keep in the humidor.
