2024 Smokin Tabacco Awards: Factory of the Year

January 20, 2025 By Matthew Tabacco

Continuing with the awards for 2024, we have arrived at Factory of the Year. This award is one that celebrates a factory who has been considered on top of their game and produces cigars that continue to perform to the highest excellence. After much consideration, we have decided to award this, once again, to My Father Cigars S.A, who also won in 2022.

My Father Cigars is owned and operated by the Garcia family and is located in Esteli, Nicaragua. This is the factory that makes cigars under its own names such as MyFather, Jamie Garcia Reserva Especial, Flor de Las Antillas, Vegas Cubana, Don Pepin Garcia and Fonseca and more. In addition, it makes cigars for several other major brands including Ashton, Crowned Heads, and of course, Tatuaje.

My Father continues to out perform and over deliver with the cigars and the tobacco that they produce. Once again, this was decided not only on their own in house products, but all of the others they manufacture as well. Once again they had the most cigars on our Top 25 list this year, just as they did in 2022. In addition, they continue to show growth in the right direction and in the right way. This is a factory that I have continued to watch with awe and one I expect wont stop growing until someday, they reach the top. Congratulations to the Garcia family and everyone who is associated with them.
