I first encountered this cigar in May while in Miami. I remember where I was, at City Cigar. I had been a huge fan of what Plasencia had been doing for the last few years already. I had tried the first Alma Fuerte Sixto II and found it to be a little tight but good. I had to try this as I was really wanted to get a feel for the Nicaraguan Colorado Claro wrapper. Upon the first lighting I knew this cigar was special. The flavor and body were milder than the Sixto II or the standard Alma Fuerte for those who don’t know which uses an oily Nicaraguan wrapper. More refined, smoother and a better draw than Sixto II. It instantly became one of my favorites for 2021 and since then I have smoked almost a whole box.
The cigar is only available in the one Vitola, which is a 6 x 60 Hexagon-pressed cigar. It has an MSRP of $21 per cigar or a box of 10 will set you back $210. Find them today at your local brick and mortar retailer.
