At the Total Product Expo (TPE) 2025 trade show this past week, Coles of London was in attendance. For those who don’t know, Coles of London is the US distributor of S.T. Dupont. Like everything Dupont does, they sure do know how to make an entrance. One of the products on display was the new Year of the Snake line which celebrates Chinese New Year.
The Year of the Snake began shipping in January. In the collection are several items from the Art of Fire collection that are beautiful works of art with the snake skin like design that adorns their exterior. Each lighter and the cigar rest cutter are all available in black or red finishes. Those items and their MSRPs are:
- Line 2: $1,695
- Slimmy: $375
- Slim 7: $265
- Cigar Rest Cutter: $285
In addition, a separate line not related to the Year of the Snake Collection was on display. This is the Snake Skin collection. This collection features items from Art of Fire and Art of Writing. Snake skin features a similar style yet heavier on the snake skin scale pattern however without the serpent logo found on Year of the Snake. Those items are:
- Line 2: $1,650
- Line D Fountain Pen: $1,195
- Line D Rollerball Pen: $995
Snake Skin only features a Line 2 lighter which only comes in green. The two pens are available in black or green. Snake Skin has also already begun shipping to authorized retailers.
