While some have been skeptical of the next Premium Cigar Association Trade Show and Convention taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana, others say they are just excited it isn’t in Las Vegas for a couple of years. Having said that, the PCA announced this week some updates regarding the 2025 show taking place in New Orleans from April 11-14, 2025.

The Premium Cigar Association has announced a number of key sponsors of its upcoming trade show. In support of the leading premium tobacco trade show and specialty tobacco retailers, several key brands have stepped forward as key sponsors of PCA25.

The annual Opening Reception, which this year will be held across the street from the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in the Mississippi River Heritage Park, will be sponsored by Espinosa Premium Cigars, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, Villiger Cigars, and Diesel. The Welcome Reception will be held on April 11 from 5 to 7 p.m.

On Sunday, April 13, United Cigar Group will sponsor the United Stand-Up Comedy Competition. Hosted by United Cigar’s Oliver Nivaud with guest M.C. comedian Tony V., this competition will feature several cigar industry personalities competing for the title of the industry’s funniest person. Those competing will include Christian Eiroa, Nick Perdomo, Al Micallef, Glen Case, Rocky Patel, Justo Eiroa, Steve Saka, Michael Herklots, Rafael Nodal, and another surprise guest. This year’s Best of the Leaf and Stand-Up Awards ceremony will be held immediately after the competition.

Other top-tier sponsors of PCA25 include Drew Estate, C.L.E. Cigar Company, Gran Habano, Foundation Cigar Company, Smoker Friendly International, and Tatuaje.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone back to NOLA this upcoming April. The weather will be gorgeous, good food and drinks will be flowing, and thanks to all our sponsors we are taking the experience to the next level for all attendees. This includes offering more places to smoke and network after hours! This is the industry’s trade show–you don’t want to miss,” says Shannon Marie, PCA’s director of trade show and events.

More events and other information is expected to come over the next few months leading up to the show.
