Micallef Madness is a 32 Team Tournament of Micallef’s top selling cigars. It is run as a prediction challenge, similar to the March Madness festivities for college basketball. Each participant will fill out a “bracket’. This means they will vote between various two cigar match-ups, until there is an ultimate showdown between two favorites and a winner is decided.
Participants have until January 30th to fill out a bracket. After that, the real fun begins! The same match-ups will be posted daily in the “Micallef Ambassador’ Facebook Group for everyone to vote on. The most popular choices will advance to the next round. Each week in February will be a different round of the tournament.
Once all rounds of voting are completed, the participant with the most accurate bracket wins! There are prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as a prize for the worst bracket. Prizes range from gift cards to brick & mortar cigar shops, Micallef Guayaberas, or cigars from Al Micallef’s personal collection!
One important thing to mention is that you do NOT need to be a Micallef Ambassador in order to fill out a bracket, but you do need to be one in order to be eligible to win a prize.
