Don Emmanuel Introduces Sun & Moon

March 21, 2026 By Matthew Tabacco

Don Emmanuel Cigars is introducing a new project called Sun & Moon Limited Edition and will soft launch it during a special public event at Empire Social Lounge on Wednesday, March 25 at 7:00 PM, offering consumers a first look at the brand’s newest dual-blend project ahead of the 2026 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show where it will be ready for order.

The evening will feature a rare appearance by legendary master blender Eladio Diaz alongside Brazilian founder and Master Cigar Sommelier Don Emmanuel. The event marks one of Díaz’s few public engagements outside the Dominican Republic and his first appearance at a cigar event in Miami, where he will join Emmanuel in presenting and discussing the philosophy behind the new project.

Sun

  • Filler: Dominican Republic

Moon

  • Wrapper: Ecuador Habano
  • Binder: Mexico
  • Filler: Dominican Republic

Developed in partnership with Díaz and produced at Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera in the Dominican Republic, Sun & Moon explores the concept of dual energies through two distinct blends presented within a single box.

Inspired by the natural balance between opposing forces, Sun & Moon reflects the relationship between light and time, energy and reflection. The Sun blend captures brightness and vitality intended for daytime enjoyment, while the Moon blend reveals a deeper and more contemplative character suited for the evening.

Both cigars are crafted in a 6½ x 50 format and feature tobaccos aged in rum barrels, a rare process that contributes additional layers of aroma, complexity, and depth to the smoking experience. Production is limited to 777 numbered boxes, each containing fourteen cigars: seven Sun and seven Moon, allowing smokers to experience both interpretations of the concept within a single presentation. The suggested retail price is $350 per box, with individual cigars priced at $25 each.

“Sun gives strength. Moon gives time. A cigar is where both worlds meet,” said Emmanuel.

During the event, guests will have the opportunity to meet Emmanuel and Díaz as they discuss the development of the project and the philosophy behind the blends. A display box of Sun & Moon will be showcased during the evening, and pre-orders will be available exclusively at the event, with boxes scheduled to ship approximately one month later from the Dominican Republic.

Admission to the event is $150 per guest, which includes a box of Don Emmanuel’s Anunnaki cigars, a branded lighter and cutter, and a welcome cocktail featuring Carúpano Rum.
