Black Works Begins Shipping Limited Release, S&R, and RORSCHACH SUMATRA

March 14, 2023 By Matthew Tabacco

Black Works Studio, S&R, and the new RORSCHACH SUMATRA. Both are hand crafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua.

S&R is a limited release that was last ssen in 2018.  RORSCHACH Sumatra is an extension of the Rorschach line.

“Very excited for the return of S&R. This year’s release features a beautiful dark Sumatran wrapper mixed with Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade. The S&R is a bold, medium strength, full flavor blend. The profile combines herbal citrus notes with cocoa and a complex mix of chili & white pepper spice. Also being released is the new Rorschach Sumatra. The original Rorschach is definitely a big cigar in a small package. The new Sumatran version is a lighter profile highlighting Jalapa tobacco. Layers of soft cedar, cinnamon and mild pepper create a complex profile with a long creamy finish,” says James Brown, creator of BLTC/BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
