Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BCN-143 has begun shipping to retailers. The blend will make its retail debut this Saturday, November 11, following a sneak preview at the 2023 PCA Show in Las Vegas. Fine & Rare BCN-143 is a ten-leaf masterpiece that contains ten unique tobacco varietals in one blend. Just 2,500 boxes of this special cigar have been made for the US market.

Handcrafted by just one pair of master artisans at the acclaimed Raices Cubanas factory in Danli, Honduras, Fine & Rare is made with tobaccos from the finest crops, each meticulously hand selected to meet an array of exacting standards set forth by the Alec Bradley team. The blend then is tested across multiple vitolas until the format that elicits the deepest complexity is ultimately chosen.

BCN-143 is a medium-bodied offering made with a Honduran Trojes Criollo 98 wrapper from the La Vega Coyol Farm in Honduras.  The cigar’s double binder is comprised of Honduran Trojes Criollo 98 and Nicaraguan Esteli Criollo. The filler features these ligero tobaccos: Honduran Jamastran Criollo 98, Nicaraguan Jalapa Criollo 98, Honduran Trojes Criollo 98, with Honduran Jamastran Criollo 98, Honduran Trojes Corojo 99, Honduran Jamastran Corojo and Nicaraguan Jalapa Corojo 99, all from the viso priming.

The result is a cigar that takes refinement to another level. The cigar begins with balanced opening notes of honey and natural sweetness and builds to include notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. As the experience progresses, the sweetness begins to dissipate, opening up to earthy and woody notes. Cascading into a long finish, notes of honeyed sweetness, hazelnut and earth envelope the palate.

Bradley Rubin, brand ambassador for Alec Bradley noted, “Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BCN-143 is one of the final blends that Alec and I developed with Alan Rubin. It embodies our passion for exceptional tobacco and our commitment to carrying the brand forward with STG. I’m really looking forward to sharing this new expression with Alec Bradley fans, old and new.”

Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BCN-143 has been made in a box-pressed, 7”x 50 vitola, and the cigars can be purchased individually for $25.99 or in a ten-count box that will sell for $259.90. Alec Bradley cigars are distributed by Forged Cigar Company.
