If you told me at the beginning of the year that I would be watching my child suffer in a spica (body) cast for three months after major surgery I would have told you “god please no”. However, that is exactly what happened and the last few months have been very long and stressful for Nicole and I. While Nicole and I are not really discussing many of the details publicly, what I can tell you is that Anastasia is doing very well right now. She has been removed from the cast and the next stage of her healing is already underway through prosthetics and learning to move her legs once again.
I wanted to take a minute to thank absolutely everyone who has reached out and given Nicole and I support as we followed this journey. It means the world to us to know that there are people out there who actually give a damn about our little family. If I haven’t gotten back to you or if you have not seen much of our content being posted or published, please understand that this was something that required all of my personal attention and time and during that time, I was forced to step back from Smokin Tabacco as I am mostly a one man operation. Over the next few weeks, I will be working on getting more content out there and getting caught up and get back to full strength.
Cigar media isn’t for the faint of heart, as it is a thankless job that requires plenty of time to operate properly. I look forward to getting back into the swing of things and getting back out there. Thank you all again for your support and understanding.
