What might come as no surprise whatsoever, Steve Saka, owner of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, is our 2022 Best Show Guest award winner. Now, I will say this was an easy decision even despite how well DTT has performed year after year including this year. Plain and simple, Steve was the highest viewed show guest across all platforms, garnering thousands of views and downloads. In addition, he was the highest viewed trade show interview for both TPE and PCA 2022.
Outside of just this simple fact, Steve and DTT had a killer year as well. If you look at our list alone, DTT had cigars place fifth and twelfth with SakaKhan and Paladin de Saka, respectively. But if you also look at the lists from other publications, Saka dominated those as well placing three cigars in some cases, as well as winning the Halfwheel.com 2022 Consensus.
Outside of that, Saka released another edition of his new StillWell Star line with a holiday style blend known as Holiday Y2022. He also announced more SakaKhan is coming with new sizes as well. Steve was out highest rated and viewed interview across all interviews (podcast and both trade shows) and on all platforms combined this year.
