Back in April, we saw some new versions of Tatuaje’s popular lines on display at PCA with a special set of Tatuaje vitolas featuring Corojo wrappers grown in Nicaragua by the Garcia family. Knowing how special this wrapper is, Tatuaje felt it was inevitable that it would be chosen for a special project. While Tatuaje released the Tatuaje 7th Corojo as a regular production cigar, these three cigars will be limited releases and will be released only to select retailers.
Two of these vitolas, the T110 and Cohete, have always been released as limited projects. The Avión 13 vitola is a regular production cigar featuring a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, but this is the first time it will be released with a Corojo wrapper.
The T110 blend was originally named for a blend dubbed “Thermonuclear”. The T110 measured 110mm in length and featured an abundance of Nicaraguan ligero priming leaves in the blend, making for a full-strength, full-bodied smoke.
Previous limited releases of T110 include the original habano wrapper and versions with Sumatra, Connecticut Broadleaf and San Andrés (Tuxtla). This is the first time it will appear with a Corojo wrapper.
