Ferio Tego has announced today the fourth annual limited release of its flagship offerings, Elegancia and Generoso, arriving in stores this month. Since their debut in 2021, Elegancia and Generoso have established themselves as the cornerstones of the Ferio Tego portfolio—each offering a unique expression, crafted with unwavering attention to detail.
Both blends are once again presented in a single format (6” x 50 toro) and packaged In Ferio Tego’s signature custom travel humidors of ten cigars. The humidors, handmade by Cigar Box Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, come preloaded with humidity control packs to ensure the cigars can be properly maintained after purchase.
As with previous years, the Ferio Tego Elegancia is manufactured in Licey, Dominican Republic with the Quesada family. The blend features a shade-grown wrapper from Ecuador, a Dominican binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The Ferio Tego Generoso is manufactured in Estelí, Nicaragua with the Plasencia family, using a Honduran-grown wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from across Nicaragua.
Though the blends remain consistent year to year, the Ferio Tego annual releases are intentionally crafted to reflect the unique characteristics of each production, similar to vintage wines. The 2024 production was completed at the end of 2023, and has 22 months of aging.
“Each year, we approach these blends with the same commitment to style and structure, but also with the freedom to let the tobaccos speak for themselves,” said Michael Herklots, co-owner and blender of Ferio Tego. “Much like wine, no two vintages are identical. Our goal is to capture the best possible expression of Elegancia and Generoso in each annual production.”
Suggested retail price for the humidor of ten cigars is $240 prior to applicable taxes. Orders may be placed immediately. The 2024 Elegancia and Generoso will ship to retail in August. Limited quantities of the 2023 vintage remain available.
