This limited-edition premium cigar pays homage to the two star-crossed lovers who gave the brand its name and helped it gain an unparalleled reputation among cigar aficionados worldwide. It begins shipping to retailers June 5.
The Romeo y Julieta Book of Love features a masterfully aged Ecuadorian filler tobacco, complemented by a Dominican binder and an exquisite, chocolatey rich Dominican wrapper. It is an aromatic medium-to-full bodied blend that tantalizes the palate with rich notes of cedar, coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of sweet spice. The blend provides a captivating smoking experience that is never overpowering.
“The Romeo y Julieta Book of Love is one of the most flavorful blends we’ve ever made for the Romeo y Julieta brand,” says Pedro Ventura, director of operations. “The most predominant tobacco in the blend is the Dominican Piloto variety from two regions of the Dominican Republic – Navarrete and La Canela – located in the heart of the Cibao Valley.
